Brendon and Lane check out a rare shower today at the Big Brother house.

Today is the 8th day that the Big Brother 12 House Guests have been in the house.  We’ve got the HoH  (Hayden), the nominees, (Rachel and Brendon), the Power of Veto winner (Brendon again), and even our first showmance (Brendon and Rachel yet again)!  If you only watched the show on CBS what you would only know that Hayden was HoH!   His nominations will be shown on Sunday and the POV competition on Wednesday most likely.  The ’showmance’ may or may not make the TV show.

Here are some new ‘developments’ since my last post.

• This afternoon the “saboteur’ came onto the video screen and announced that two of the HGs in the house are either long time friends or have some kind of ‘previous’ BB alliance.
• It turns out the X’s taped to HG pics were on Kathy and Britney’s faces.
• Matt, Hayden, Enzo and Lane are in an alliance they have called the “Brigade”

The showmance between Brendon and Rachel continues – they have been seen kissing several times today.

The Power of Veto ceremony is the last major ‘event’ to take place this week – since the Tuesday show was moved to Wednesdays, the production team has gained one day to film the HGs in the house.  So they may push the POV ceremony back by one day.

Once the Power of Veto has been played, the only thing left will be for the nominees to scramble for votes – and I think they way it will fall out is that Brendon will save himself, Annie will be nominated, and she will be voted out.

Note to those in the house that think Annie is the Saboteur.  Right now it really looks like Annie may be going.  If she is – I can’t imagine the producers will let it happen that easy, they want the saboteur to last a good long time in the house and then start playing to win.
