Just my guess and I might be wrong, but CBS wants to get lots of tape of them all in the house together and have time to edit it before Thursday’s first show.

Last year the turned on the feeds for a couple house to tease us. It was only audio though but it still was enough to drive us bonkers guessing whose voices we heard and what plotting was already going on. By the time the video feeds officially begin on Thursday there will most likely already be a HoH and most likely even two HGs nominated.

I’ve got my feed subscription already so I won’t miss a minute if they tease us.

Even though they are not really active yet, the feeds are up and you can tune in and listen to music if you already have the superpass subscription for Big Brother. I have updated the links on the right for the various camera feeds.

I am hoping they tease us a little with some audio once the houseguests are in the house. I read on one site where they will enter the house on July 3rd, but that would be really late with the show going live 2 days later. I am guessing they will go in on July 1st (a Sunday) or at the latest July 2nd. That way the producers have 3 or 4 days worth of video to edit for the 1st show on July 5th and additional video for the second show the following Sunday.

Right now the HG’s and alternates are most likely locked away in a hotel close to the BB House. I would expect they will be moved in on Sunday.

Now last year BB teased us with an hour or two of live feed audio – but only if you had the feeds of course.

Some people are already signing up for the Live Feeds so they are ready.

You can get a two week trial of the feeds via a link on the right. That is the route I would suggest. If you sign up today you would be able to see any surpised videos they show (if any) as well as the first weekend of live feeds. Then on the night of the third TV show (assuming that is on July 10th) – you could cancel the free subscription if Big Brother 8 isn’t your cup of tea.
