The live feeds are on! Kinda.

Friday, June 30th, 2006

Reports are that the feeds from Real.com are working, sort-of.  I am sure they are just shaking them down and from what I have heard you either see test patterns or a message saying the houseguests will be right back

Sample of the “Quad Cam” from today.

Last day to vote.

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

Voting ends tonight around midnight Eastern.  Get in your final clicks before then and after we can all sit back and see who makes it in the house on next Wednesdays show.

By the way, the house guests will actually enter the house next Sunday or Monday (my guess) and then CBS will have three or four days worth of tape to edit down for the show on Thursday.

My prediction is that all 20 candidates will at least have a chance to get into the house.  I think 12 will be told to enter and the remaining eight will get to compete for two final spots.

Vote at the Official CBS Site.

Little tidbits….

Thigs I have picked up over the last few days worth sharing…..

There was not a lock for several HGs – at most one HG was promised that he/she would make it into the house before the campaign began.

The people campaigning are paying their own way for everything.  So if you see someone in NYC for example, they paid for their own transportation and lodging (for example, Kaysar today).  This may explain why you haven’t seen many candidates on The CBS Early Show.

Voting continues to be crazy, I am just sitting back now and watching the “totals.”  Notice how CBS stopped releasing the estimates?  If they release a number it will give us a clue to any effect the voting bots are having, so they are keeping mum about it ;)

CBS and the voting bots – there are limits.

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

Accoring to BB3’s Danielle, CBS is somehow keeping a limit on the effect the voting ‘bots’ have on the voting.

This might be a reason for the rumored 500 vote limit per IP Address but Danielle didn’t know any more details.

Once again, who knows what it all means.  Frankly I think the producers can weave it any way they want, if they are indeed taking 14 out of 20 (or letting the 8 not selected compete for the final 2 spots), they will be able to get most of the ‘favorites’ in the house.  No matter what some will not make it but I am also sure each one was promised a minimum $ amount just for being involved in the campaign.
