Well, the show went exactly as we expected and now we are waiting on the live feeds to return.  Once they have we should be able to figure out whom Danielle nominated and who has won the Power of Veto (assuming it has been played for already).

The Power of Veto is MUCH more important this time than the HoH because with it the holder controls the nominations (there are only 3 to nominate).  So if Ian, Dan or Shane wins it they will get to select who goes home by saving themselves and then voting out one of the other two, Danielle will have no control.  If Danielle happens to win it then the best she can do is select who gets to make the vote and hope he votes the way she wants.

I’ll update this post with the Nominations and POV winner as soon as I know them.

Update: The feeds have come back but for now we don’t know who is nominated or who might have won POV – they don’t have a lot of reason to discuss it so we are in the dark for the moment.

Update #2: It appears Danielle nominated Dan and Ian and also won the POV.

Here is a quick update on what has gone on since last Friday when nominations were made (and where Sunday’s show ended).

Ian nominated Jenn and Shane, then on Saturday there was a POV competition that involved two platforms and ropes the players were suspended on – they went back and forth between platforms to assemble a puzzle.  Shane was the winner and in addition to winning the POV he won what turned out to be a trip outside of the house on Sunday – he took Danielle and they went to the Kellogg sponsored exhibition by the women’s Olympic medal winning team.   They kissed a couple of times apparently (at the urging of the production staff they said when they got back).  Just a reminder there is no real showmance between these two.

On Monday the POV meeting was held and Shane did indeed use it an Ian put up Danielle in Shane’s place.  Jenn was upset because she expected Ian to put up Dan who had nominated him the previous week but he said he did it to separate Shane and Danielle (in reality Dan talked Ian out of nominating him and the plan was to vote out Jenn anyways).

On Tuesday the feeds were turned off at around 12pm and the eviction show was taped a few hours later.  The HGs had no clue there was going to be an eviction show it seems.  Jenn was voted out 2-0 and then in the HoH competition after Dan and Danielle tied 6-6 before Danielle won the Tie-breaker to become the next HoH.

Nominations were probably made today or last night and the Power of Veto competition most likely happened today.  We will determine nominations and who won POV wen the live feeds return this evening after the recorded show airs.

The Power of Veto meeting may be shown live on Thursday’s show and then the vote to evict by the one non-nominated HG.  This time the POV winner has more power than the HoH winner since he will be able to save himself if nominated and vote out one of the other guys – if Danielle wins it she will just decide who gets to cast the vote to evict.

On tonight’s show there was a double eviction – which the HGs were kind of expecting.

Frank went out like a lamb after all his talk about raising hell if people voted him out – so no one found out about his dealing with Dan – although even if that had it might not have made a difference.

Bye Bye Frank and Joe

Once he was out the door, Dan won HoH and nominated Joe and Ian.  Ian then won the POV competition and saved himself.  This forced Dan to nominate Danielle in Ian’s place.

Danielle was saved as Joe was voted out 2-0.

After the show ended there was a HoH competition which was won by Ian.  Its expected he will nominate Shane and Jenn on Friday.
